I didn't pause for more than a moment when I got home from work to immediately change and head out for a run. I knew if I waited more than an instant I would find an excuse to not go out. I also knew I had to beat the rain. I did just that. No thinking, no waiting, no excuses.
I got my run in and I'm still waiting for the rain. It hasn't even started yet. Imagine what a rotten excuse it would have been if that was why I decided not to go out to run.
It's a good thing I didn't think about waiting.
